Quick happy-famous-friends update
So my highschool chum Reed is playing flute at the über-awesome Rockport Opera House in Rockport, ME, as part of the Bay Chamber Concerts summer music fun-thing.
The Summer Music Woodwind Prize was awarded to 18 year old flutist Reed Gochberg of Surry, daughter of Mary Gochberg. Currently a freshman at Harvard University, Gochberg has soloed with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and was principal flute in 2004 and 2005 at the Maine All State competition.
The concert is this thursday, June 29 at 8 pm. I'll be there, will you??
