Spreading an (aging) Internet Meme

I came across this little bit of weirdness today on (where else) BoingBoing. Apparently it’s been around since 2005 on the internet (and originally aired in 1995), but to me it’s fresh and new. AND FREAKING HILARIOUS. I mean, seriously, it’s three norwegian guys, dressed in ill-fitting jogging suits, singing a mournful rendition of Total Eclipse of the Heart, backed by only a bass guitar and some beaten up kitchen appliances. They go by the name Hurra Torpedo, and recently toured in N. America. Check it out.
