Lots of people noticed it and commented on it on various blogs.
None of the others however refered to the offender as “John Stewart”

Sorry, I’m not trying to brag or make myself look more important than I am, and as I pointed out in the original post, I’m aware that I’m definitely not the only or first person to make the observation that I did, and in the comments I acknowledged the mistaken identification you mention.

The spike resulted from getting linked to by a high-traffic site, after a suggested that they mention a post I made.
