The funny thing is, I think that the bottled-up, &quot;this is Art&quot; attitude also somehow enhances my enjoyment, maybe by making me pay more attention, or taking the music more seriously somehow.</description>

It&#039;s funny - the classical music etiquette you described is only a couple hundred years old, if that.  Before, people would clap in between movements (the horror!) and the conductor might even reprise a movement if there was enough applause.  I guess you belong in the 18th century.</description>
