Real quick update

The big news is that I finally sent my study abroad application in, via overnight mail last thursday.  However, it turns out that the deadline was moved from this past monday to next friday (October 26).  Grrrrr.  On the bright side, I think this probably bodes well for my chances of admission.  I still have [...]

I’m at school! It’s awesome! I’m very busy! But my room is awesome, Hunt and I have a piñata (named Javier, say hi to him sometime), Ruth’s entry is a lot of fun. A capella madness is in full swing, with entry sings last night (three and a half hours of [...]

GQ had its spring concert and it went absolutely swimmingly. If you couldn’t make it, you can at least check out the totally awsm pictures that Sofia took. Because of scheduling silliness with the music department we were singing in the black box theatre in the ‘62 center, which is literally just a [...]

Because the incredible Sara Macwright has once again produced some of the best publicity material this campus–nay, the world–has ever seen.

It’s really a shame that there’s no visible timestamp on these things, because it’s not really January 11 yet, since everyone knows that they day doesn’t officially roll over until 4 am! Tonight was movie night with GQ, and we celebrated it in high style by watching Best In Show and drinking hot chocolate [...]

Knee deep in stuff to do, but taking a bit of a break to jot down a selection of what I’ve been seeing/doing:

Today/last night it snowed! I woke up to that particular kind of light that you only see when it’s snowing: bright, diffuse, and completely pure.
The snow that’s already fallen gives everything a [...]

So I’m back at school, and that part of the semester is in full swing. That of course means little time to pay attention to this thing, so you’ll have to forgive me. This weekend is going to be fun-filled and busy, too: after I finish my final paper for 20th Century Music [...]

I’ve been pretty down all day worrying about the paper I spent all last night working on and passed in today.  I did a quick read through before class to make sure there weren’t any huge glaring errors and was really sort of shocked to discover how little it is possible to say in six [...]
